Pileated Woodpecker and Babies Tea Towel
The Pileated is the largest and most spectacular extant woodpecker in North America. Often referred to as the “Oh my God” bird as that is often the expression used when you first see their size and that flaming red mohawk. They excavate deep into rotten wood to retrieve carpenter ants and leave large rectangular holes in dead trees for a characteristic nest.
Printed with water-based ink by a locally owned business in Bend, Oregon.
